The Client Service Coordinator (CSC) plays a crucial role in managing the flow of clients and pets through the veterinary hospital, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional client service. The CSC maximizes the productivity of the veterinary medical team while fostering a welcoming environment for clients and their pets. The position emphasizes client education, financial management, and administrative support to enhance the overall experience and encourage client loyalty.
Responsibilities- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
- Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing the flow of clients and pets.
- Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through efficient operations.
- Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times.
- Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
- Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet information entry.
- Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, and scheduling future appointments.
- Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and following proper procedures.
- Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old for duties involving radiography.
- One year related experience required, with customer service preferred.
- Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical) with medical terminology training is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks under distracting conditions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated organizational ability and problem-solving skills.
- Client service skills ensuring attentive and informative service.
- Mathematical ability for basic calculations and conversions.
- Comfortable using computers and specialized software.
- Experience in a veterinary or medical setting.
- Knowledge of pet health and wellness plans.

Pay: $16.93 - $21.63 per hour (rounded range; specific rate determined by experience, skill level, and education, and may vary by location or applicable minimum wage laws).
