Experiential Design Assistant

Wildhouse brings ambitious brand ideas to life by designing, fabricating, and installing large-scale experiential environments across the nation. The team partners with brands, agencies, and production companies to carry a clear creative vision from initial concept through final completion. Wildhouse’s work includes brand activations, pop-ups, festivals, trade shows, retail environments, VIP spaces, scenic builds, oversized props, custom signage, and large-format graphics.

With an integrated approach and a focus on collaboration, one team manages each project from the first sketch to the final install, creating memorable physical experiences that elevate brands.

The Experiential Design Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Anaheim, CA, supporting the design team in developing and executing immersive brand environments. This role involves assisting with concept development, preparing design presentations, and translating ideas into technical drawings and visual mockups. The Experiential Design Assistant will help create layouts for events and installations, coordinate design assets for fabrication, and ensure that design details align with brand guidelines and project requirements.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with designers and project managers, communicating with internal stakeholders, updating project documentation, and supporting site visits or installs as needed. The role requires strong attention to detail, an interest in experiential and interior environments, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused setting.

• Strong working proficiency in Blender is required, including 3D modeling, spatial layouts, materials, lighting, and rendering
• Understanding of experiential and interior design principles, with an eye for scale, spatial planning, materials, and branded environments
• Experience with CAD software for technical drawings, floor plans, and fabrication-ready documents
• Graphic design skills for creating visual mockups, presentation decks, and large-format graphics that follow brand standards
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and supporting client-facing conversations
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting production priorities
• Strong organization and attention to detail, including accurate file documentation and version control
• Comfort working in shop and installation environments, with a willingness to support occasional hands-on tasks
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant 3D, spatial, environmental, or experiential design work
• Relevant education or training in design, architecture, interior design, experiential design, or a related field preferred
