This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part-time faculty.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and two years of professional experience, or an Associate degree in any discipline and six years of professional experience, or possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.

Desirable qualifications include prior teaching experience within the topics of theatrical and event video and projections, strong working knowledge and experience with QLab, projectors, edge blending, and Apple computers, and familiarity with show control and DMX peripherals.

The candidate selected for employment will be required to provide official transcripts and verification of experience prior to the first duty day, identification and employment eligibility as outlined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act, fingerprints and required medical certification pursuant to statue. NOCCCD will not sponsor any visa applications.
