Perfect Summer Job for Preschool Teachers & Early Childhood Educators

Are you a preschool teacher, early childhood educator, or daycare professional looking for a fun and meaningful summer job? Angels Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring Camp Counselors to work with young campers ages 4–6 throughout Southern California. This role is ideal for educators who love working with young children and want to spend their summer outdoors, active, and making a positive impact.

• Continue working with children in a fun, outdoor camp environment
• Apply your classroom management and early childhood education skills
• Monday–Friday schedule (no nights or weekends)
• Stay active while teaching and mentoring young campers

As a Camp Counselor for ages 4–6, you will help create a safe, structured, and engaging environment where young campers are introduced to baseball and softball through age-appropriate games and activities. No advanced sports experience is required—we provide all training, equipment, and curriculum.

• Supervise and engage campers ages 4–6 in small group settings
• Lead age-appropriate games, activities, and beginner sports instruction
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Support camper social development, teamwork, and confidence
• Manage transitions, routines, and group behavior
• Communicate positively with campers, parents, and staff
• Collaborate with Site Director and fellow counselors

• Experience as a preschool teacher, daycare teacher, or early childhood educator preferred
• Experience working with children ages 3–6 (required)
• Background in early childhood education, child development, or teaching is a plus
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Patient, energetic, and nurturing personality
• Reliable and dependable

• Monday–Friday (~8‑hour days)
• Summer camp season:
  July – August 2026
• 3–6 week commitment preferred

• $16.90 – $22.00 (based on experience and qualifications)

• Work outdoors with young children
• No nights or weekends

Multiple locations available throughout Southern California. Placement will be based on proximity whenever possible.

• Reliable transportation to camp locations
• Ability to pass a background check
