City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department seeks a dynamic Part Time Utilities Analyst I to support operations in the Water Resources division. Water Resources Division supports the department in the development and updates of various water resources tracking spreadsheets, development and analysis of water supply and demand forecasting, water resources planning and reporting, review and evaluation of water resources standards and regulations, and review of regional water agency reports, budgets, and studies.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical, analytical, and collaborative skills to support the City’s water resources planning, reporting, and coordination efforts including, but not limited to, the following:
- Develop and update spreadsheets to track and report water resources data.
- Support preparation of key water resources reports, including audits, efficiency reports, supply assessments, and management plans.
- Assist with long and short term planning, and forecasting water demand and supply
- Contribute to technical analyses for policy development, regional planning, and water supply projects.
- Support water supply budget preparation, review regional supplier budgets, process payments, and assess financial impacts.
- Help prepare reports and studies on current and future water resource projects.
This is a part-time position averaging 30 hours per week. A minimum number of hours is not guaranteed.
Plan, coordinate, implement, and oversee administrative, operational, and financial programs, studies, research projects, and initiatives in support of Public Utilities' mission and goals; participate in the development and implementation of strategies and work plans for the achievement of these goals.
