- Has authority and accountability for technical scope, schedule, and cost pertaining to required operations activities on an assigned program
- Primary point of contact for the technical, cost, risk/opportunity, and schedule performance of the actions on the assigned program;
Develop and implement strategies to meet cost, delivery, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement commitments. - Serve as the Earned Value Control Account Manager (CAM) for assigned programs
- Engages with other IPT Leads, Functional Managers, and leadership to promote successful action planning and execution
- Frequent collaboration with multiple functions (e.g., Design Engineering, Contracts, manufacturing, etc.) and the program office
- Support overall Program by contributing schedule inputs and changes into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), maintaining timely and effective change management processes and procedures
- Monitor RAIL (Rolling Action Item List) performance and ensure that issues are addressed immediately with corrective actions and recovery plans implemented expeditiously
- Plan and coordinate activities to support verification and validation of new processes and product improvements
- Support multidisciplinary program reviews and presentations throughout the different phases of development, certification, and production readiness with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated understanding and practice of Earned Value Management

- Proposal/BOE preparation for new business and changes in scope to existing programs
- Drive employee engagement through Factory Gemba walk process
- Facilitate Operations, Manufacturing and Quality participation in design development to identify and address manufacturability, testability and inspectability issues
- Support the organization in the development and implementation of operating philosophies and business strategies
- Develop, implement and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating improvements
- Effectively manage behavior, performance, and key deliverables across a matrix organization
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in leading a multi-functional, technically oriented, Integrated Product Team in an operations environment
- Significant working experience with execution of earned value management (EVM);
Experience in creating and managing budgets for both operational and capital expenses; proven experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) - Experienced with all phases of manufacturing and program management (development, planning, conceptual design, requirements definition, preliminary design, prototyping, test and evaluation, integration, entry to production, etc.)
- Extensive experience in manufacturing; preferably experience in Shop Operations. Operations Planning, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement also desirable.
- Strong operations and engineering analytical and technical writing skills with the ability to effectively communicate, present data, and explain results to leadership, subordinates & peers
