Position Summary
Applied Signal Technology (AST), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company, is hiring a Senior Principal Reverse Systems Engineer. This onsite position in Anaheim Hills, CA requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph.
Location & TravelOnsite – Anaheim Hills, CA. Travel up to 25%.

1.
- Support multiple programs and collaborate with R&D team members on system development and deployment.
- Generate briefings and present material to team members, customers, and management.
- Degree in STEM and a minimum of 10years of relevant experience.
- Experience in systems architecture and systems engineering.
- Experience with reverse engineering of embedded systems.
- Experience with signal processing, proof‑of‑concept development, and prototype building.
- Experience working with customers, end‑users, hardware and software design teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics.
- Experience with RF, optical or electrical telecommunications standards and processing techniques.
- Experience with Design, Development, Integration and Test of open system architectures.
- Experience developing proof‑of‑concept use‑case scenarios supporting novel waveforms.
- Experience formalizing, developing and documenting requirements, plans and procedures based on customer interactions.
- Understanding of telecommunications systems concepts and signal‑processing fundamentals.
- Existing Top‑Secret SCI with polygraph (active within the last 24months).

USD
145,600 – 276,800 per year, depending on experience, education, and level.
