We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with expertise in SPECT and PET/CT medical imaging systems to join our growing team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced diagnostic imaging equipment while delivering exceptional technical support to healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities- Install, configure, and commission SPECT and PET/CT imaging systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system calibrations.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, and mechanical issues.
- Interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and service documentation.
- Maintain accurate service records using CMMS.
- Perform equipment upgrades and software updates.
- Provide technical support and training to clinical staff.
- Ensure compliance with OEM standards and regulatory requirements.
- Minimize equipment downtime through timely service and repairs.
- Bachelor s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Experience servicing SPECT, PET/CT, or other advanced medical imaging equipment.
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging systems and OEM equipment.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms.
- Strong mechanical and computer hardware troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience with OEM medical imaging systems.
- Knowledge of DME compliance.
- Experience supporting healthcare or hospital environments.
- Salary: $175,000 - $225,000 annually
