Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and oversee electrical systems for residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design, power distribution, and lighting systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for residential and commercial buildings.
- Create and review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software.
- Perform load calculations and power distribution analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to integrate electrical designs.
- Conduct site inspections to assess project progress and resolve technical issues.
- Select appropriate materials, components, and systems for electrical installations.
- Evaluate energy efficiency and implement sustainable electrical solutions.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and cost estimates.
- Provide technical guidance and support during construction and installation phases.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, etc.).
- Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, and other relevant electrical standards.
- Experience with power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Skills:
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems, fire alarms, and communication systems.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or EIT (Engineer in Training) certification is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with construction site coordination.
