Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year.

Our company is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Accountant to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their expertise in a dynamic and growing construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in job cost, Construction Accounting, Project Accounting, T&M, Time & Material, and experience with Sage, Vista Viewpoint, Viewpoint, job costing, AIA billing, and AIA invoicing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring the financial integrity of each project, and contributing to the overall financial success of our company.

• Manage all aspects of project accounting, including job cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and submit AIA billing and invoicing.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate and timely tracking of project costs and revenues.
• Utilize Sage, Vista Viewpoint, and other accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and generate financial reports.
• Review and approve all project-related invoices and ensure they are coded and allocated correctly.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts, and analyze variances.
• Conduct financial analysis and prepare financial reports to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with the finance team and other stakeholders to improve financial processes and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in job cost, Construction Accounting, Project Accounting, T&M, Time & Material.
• Experience with Sage, Vista Viewpoint, Viewpoint, job costing, AIA billing, and AIA invoicing.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
