Fantastic opportunity with our client in Orange County! Fast paced and growing logistics industry company looking for their next Staff Accountant for either a temp to hire or direct hire opportunity. This role is onsite in Anaheim and vaccination is required. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $32 to $35 per hour.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes
Complete Bank Reconciliations and review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
Manage Financial Statements for at least one entity
Prepare payroll and analytics for Independent Contractor Drivers
Manage claim related payments for our Health Benefit Plan
Meet defined processing and reporting deadlines
Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with external audits
Act as support and backup for Senior Accounting Manager
Other ad hoc project and duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

2-5 years of Staff Accountant experience
Excellent Excel - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance preferred
