Financial Analyst
The Treasury department is responsible for the liquidity management, bank relationships, financial risk management and treasury accounting of the business. This role will collaborate closely with all levels under the supervision of the Assistant Treasury Manager, assisting in daily activities of the Treasury department, providing day to day operational support, driving the implementation of new capabilities and supporting strategic initiatives.

- Process individual and bulk wire requests for new loan fundings
- Facilitate and resolve wire issues with the funding team and warehouse banks
- Complete fundings by distributing Fed reference numbers in loan origination system (Encompass LOS)
- Prepare and process payment requests in treasury management platform (Kyriba), including wire, ACH and account transfers
- Monitor and decision daily Positive Pay exceptions in a timely manner
- Create and distribute daily reports for management and document custodian
- Assist with collateral requests to warehouse banks and/or support documentation to custodian
- Collaborate with accounting for daily cash reconciliation processes, monthly and quarterly procedures, and special projects.
- Work independently and with limited direction to prioritize tasks and organize workflow under narrow time limitations, and appropriately communicate changes and progress
- Work closely with management to develop solutions based on business needs
- Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma required
- 3 + years prior experience in the mortgage industry or banking experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective business writing, time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization and third-party business partners
- Self-motivated, flexible, hands-on, and able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Take ownership of responsibilities and work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
