Data Analyst, IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Sr Manager of Application Design and Development, the Business Support Analyst (BSA) will provide the appropriate support to ensure the efficient and effective use of JDE, DSI and other Nellson systems. This involves the troubleshooting of issues, development of documentation, training of users for day-to-day tasks to ensure that they have the proper knowledge of their roles to complete them efficiently.
This role will be the first level of support, managing the tickets coming into Helpdesk and will help to triage the same. They will also help maintain documentation for training purposes.
- Provide ongoing functional support of ERP system and additional systems.
- Manage and lead all Master Data process in the ERP for all locations.
- Work with stakeholders (SME) to define and monitor requests.
- Review and analyze systems problems to identify solutions and make referrals.
- Escalate incidents and requests to Business Analyst Level II or Manager.
- Provide both formal/informal trainings; work with power users to regularly improve their knowledge.
- Analyze, research, organize and prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
- Perform year-end tasks and back-fill role gaps as needed (Pseudo-SME).
- Acquire and apply Business Analyst knowledge.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a Masters in Business Administration in any field preferred.
• MS Azure / Cloud migration experience, preferred, but not required.
• Experience in program troubleshooting, basic ERP system functionality or equivalent training and/or education is extremely beneficial.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial.
• Foundational understanding of business analysis would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with SQL / Programming language / Visio would be preferred.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Basic project management skills.
• Great listener, strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. Patience to work with various personalities.
• Willingness to learn new software and technology.
• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
• Willingness to work outside of business hours to support the environment.
• Experience with data collection software.
• Excellent data analysis and program troubleshooting experience when needed.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
