Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, ERP & IT Systems is a strategic, techno-functional leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization’s ERP and IT ecosystem, with primary accountability for IFS Cloud ERP and enterprise-wide business systems. This role requires deep experience architecting and governing IFS Cloud in complex, multi-entity environments, combining strategic system design with strong functional expertise. This individual leads ERP architecture across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, support scalable growth, and deliver accurate, reliable data.
As the IFS subject matter expert, the role establishes system design standards, governs configuration, and ensures financial integrity, costing accuracy, data governance, and operational efficiency. In addition, this role oversees the organization’s IT infrastructure and shared services, including physical and virtual servers, cybersecurity, storage and backup systems, LAN/WAN networks, and telecommunications. The position ensures infrastructure operates securely, efficiently, and in alignment with business priorities.
Responsibilities include comprehensive systems management—spanning hardware and software administration, cybersecurity oversight, performance optimization, and user support—to maintain productivity, system reliability, and minimal downtime.
- Own solution design across core IFS Cloud modules, supporting both financial and operational modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Projects, etc).
- Design, develop, configure, maintain and support system integrations, APIs, and data workflows between IFS ERP and other enterprise applications. Support systems include Boomi-based EDI integrations and transaction flows, Warehouse mobility solutions (WADACO configuration and/or Novacura replacement initiatives), and IFS–Bar Tender production label integration and automation
- Lead and support ERP enhancements, upgrades, architectural governance, patches, testing, and deployments with minimal disruption to operations.
- Develop and maintain operational, financial, and management reports, customizations, migrations using IFS
- Ensure robust posting controls, intercompany structures, inventory valuation, and manufacturing costing models. Partner with IT infrastructure teams and external vendors to ensure system scalability, security, and performance.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to align system capabilities with business strategy.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical ERP solutions.
- Provide hands‑on support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for ERP‑related issues. Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements.
- Lead business process optimization initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, financial controls, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure alignment between system workflows and business strategy.
- Act as the functional expert for ERP financial modules, posting controls, and financial reporting structures.
