Clinical Trainer HX - Clinical Informatics

UCI Health is hiring a Clinical Applications Trainer to support and train physicians, clinicians, and staff across its enterprise on EHR and other clinical-use applications. The trainer delivers at-the-elbow support and training tools tied directly to the EHR, helping providers work more efficiently while staying compliant with clinical workflows across multiple hospitals and ambulatory clinics. Deep knowledge of Epic — spanning modules like Clin Doc, Ambulatory, OpTime, and Stork — sits at the center of the role.

• Provide EHR and clinical-application support and training to physicians, clinicians, and staff on-site
• Deliver at-the-elbow support and training tools that drive provider efficiency, proficiency, and compliance
• Support multiple UCI Health facilities and specialty ambulatory clinics across the enterprise
• Work across Epic modules including Clin Doc, Ambulatory, OpTime, Anesthesia, Stork, and Healthy Planet
• Three or more years of clinical experience in an acute-care or ambulatory setting, plus Epic certification (or willingness to obtain it within the first year)
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Orange, CA — on-site, with flexibility for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
