Compensation

Hourly base pay rate $18.17 - $27.21 per hour, with potential additional compensation such as commission or incentive programs.

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device for each vehicle received at the Auction (e.g., VIN, stock number, dealer , make, model, year, mileage, color, options).
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker and tracker device to each vehicle upon receipt.
• Install OBD tracker or attach 2nd generation tracker around steering wheel.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Flag “no key” cars and direct transporters to the proper drop zone.
• Report transport damage as needed.
• Take a digital image of each vehicle upon receipt.
• Provide proper sale identification windshield code to the driver entering registration/check‑in area.
• Follow all safety and health procedures and model behaviors related to safety excellence.
• Assist on sale days by driving vehicles through auction sales lanes as directed by the manager or supervisor.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Physical requirements:
  
  regularly stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb; lift 1–15 pounds; adequate visual acuity (close, distance, color, depth, focus).

All candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug test. The position does not currently require a marijuana test. Cox maintains a drug‑free workplace; possession, use, or influence of illegal drugs during work hours, on company property, or in company vehicles is prohibited.
