General Manager

Our client is a privately held, growth-oriented aerospace and defense company. Our client desires a proactive leader who is results oriented with world-class experience. The Site General Manager provides executive leadership for the facility, helping maintainl Profit and Loss (P&L) accountability. You will lead a multidisciplinary team—including engineering, quality, and program management to deliver critical components while ensuring 100% adherence to AS9100 and ITAR regulations.

• Operational & Strategic Leadership: Drive strategic vision and daily performance across a growing and complex machining environment.
• Regulatory & Quality Oversight: Maintain readiness for all compliance and regulations as it relates to aerospace/defense components and systems
• P&L & Financial Management: Own the site budget, forecasting, and capital investment planning to optimize margins and ROI on high-cost machinery.
• Customer & Program Relations: Serve as the primary executive face for Tier 1 aerospace OEMs and defense contractors, managing complex New Product Introduction (NPI) and delivery schedules.
• Security & Compliance: Oversee standards to safeguard sensitive technical data.

• Experience: 10–15+ years of progressive leadership in a highly regulated precision machining environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or Business; an MBA is highly preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Mastery of multi-axis CNC processes and aerospace-grade material properties.
• Citizenship: Due to defense contract requirements, applicants must typically be U.S. Citizens
• Tools: Expert-level knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
