Key Qualifications- Bilingual in English and Spanish (able to write, speak, and translate fluently in Spanish) is essential.
- Must have at least two (2) years of human resource management experience.
- Three years of learning and development/facilitation experience is required.
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Previous hotel and union experience is preferred.
Pay range $75,000 to $95,000 per year

- Team Member Resource Groups

- Develop, plan, coordinate and implement training programs in accordance with current standards including, but not limited to, harassment‑free workplace, diversity, new team member orientation, departmental training, communication, leadership, service and train‑the‑trainer training.
- Lead Quality initiatives through analyzing trends for improvement and plan and conduct meetings with department managers, trainers and team members to review performance, and develop action plans, specific training needs, and initiatives to recognize achievement.
- Review, analyze and assess hotel training needs, initiatives and programs to meet hotel objectives and KPI’s through development of, or research of training solutions and make recommendations to address specific hotel needs.
- Organize and execute all team member meetings to drive awareness and engagement.
- Plan and conduct meetings with department managers, trainers and team members to review performance trends, to develop action plans and to recognize achievement.
- Track, input, maintain and audit all individual team member training records utilizing designated systems and programs.
- Oversee and monitor all departmental training programs including, but not limited to alcohol awareness, food safety, job skills checklist, educational assistance, etc.
- Develop and distribute the annual training calendar, compile and distribute periodic reports and measurements related to training activity and return on investment.
- Ensuring adherence to California guidance, develop and manage leadership development education that is aligned with CA Wage/Hour, California Paid Sick Leave, ADA awareness/compliance, Leave of Absence for effective management.
- Establish and maintain company wide annual compliance training to remain in line with budget, and forecasting.
- Lead and educate leaders on engagement and recognition opportunities, to ensure an engaged workforce resulting in high performing Global Team Member Survey Results.
- Manage the annual performance management process for Exempt and Non‑Union non‑union team members.
