CNC Machinist; 2nd Shift

The CNC Machinist will operate industrial devices that generate manufactured parts. Essential skills are technical knowledge, setting up, and operating a CNC machine while maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

• Operate equipment such as CNC machines, milling machines, and end mills to produce manufactured parts primarily out of aluminum and titanium.
• Take measurements to adequately ensure the accurate set-up, using tools such as gauges, calipers, indicators and micrometers.
• Maintain specifications by observing drilling and cutting, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting controls, replacing worn tools, and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Set up and troubleshoot 5‑axis machines for large complex parts.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from an accredited technical college is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible milling experience; aerospace industry experience is a plus.
• Possess basic math and geometry knowledge with elementary knowledge of engineering principals helpful.
• Be able to read blueprints, follow work orders and verbal instructions.
• Must have recent experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls.

Pay range: $24—$28 USD
