We are a fast growing and fast paced manufacturing company focused on Water and Electrical Infrastructure, Roads/Bridges, Aerospace and many more industries.
Pen Manufacturing is seeking a Strategic Accounts Director to lead development and expansion of high value OEM partnerships within our contract manufacturing platform.
This role is responsible for penetrating, structuring, and scaling long term manufacturing agreements with OEM customers across targeted industrial verticals.
We are looking for a senior commercial leader with deep experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding environments who understands how to build durable, margin aligned OEM relationships.
Role Overview- Acquire and expand strategic OEM accounts
- Develop multi-year production agreements aligned with operational capacity
- Establish executive level relationships with OEM stakeholders
- Lead value-based pricing and contract negotiation strategy
- Expand share of wallet across programs and product lines
- Align customer requirements with engineering and manufacturing capabilities
- Contribute to long-term vertical diversification strategy
This position partners with the Director of Sales and executive leadership to drive sustainable OEM growth.
Ideal Background- 12–20+ years in contract manufacturing sales or strategic account leadership
- Direct experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding required
- Machining experience a strong plus
- Proven history of securing complex OEM production programs
- Deep understanding of fabrication, welding standards, materials, and operational constraints
- Strong executive presence and strategic mindset
Candidates without direct contract manufacturing experience will not be considered.
CompensationBase salary: $70,000 - $130,000.
Commission Bonus: $0 - $300,000 per year.
Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentive.
Uncapped commission tied to OEM revenue growth.
Clear path to expanded commercial leadership as OEM footprint scales.
