Position Overview
A large aerospace manufacturer is hiring CNC Machinists of all experience levels — from recent CNC graduates to experienced setup machinists. Both 1st shift and 2nd shift positions are open, with 10–15 hours of weekly overtime and strong long-term growth opportunities.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to build or advance their machining career with hands-on training, structured development, and exposure to a wide variety of CNC equipment.
Shifts
1st Shift: 5:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
Consistent 10–15 hours of overtime each week
Responsibilities
CNC machine operation on lathes and mills to produce precision aerospace components
Set up tools, load programs, set offsets, and assist with fixture preparation
Interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers and other measuring tools
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain accuracy
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Collaborate with trainers and leads to learn new machining techniques
Support continuous improvement efforts in quality, workflow, and efficiency
Essential Skills
Experience in CNC operation or setup (all levels encouraged to apply)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Basic inspection skills using calipers and other measuring tools
Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift with regular overtime
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Motivation to learn and grow into higher-level machining roles
Preferred Qualifications
NTMA or trade school training
1–3 years of CNC machining experience OR recent CNC program completion
Experience with Haas machines is a plus
Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience beneficial
Interest in advancing into CNC programming

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
