Position: Cabinet Assembler (ID #522572)

Cabinetry Technician

A Cabinetry Technician is responsible for building, assembling, installing, and finishing custom or production cabinets for residential, commercial, or industrial applications. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, operate woodworking machinery, and ensure all products meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and construct cabinets, drawers, doors, and other wood components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
  • Measure, cut, sand, and shape wood, plywood, laminates, and other materials.
  • Operate woodworking equipment such as table saws, routers, edge banders, sanders, and drills.
  • Install hardware, including hinges, drawer slides, handles, and locks.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure accuracy, fit, and finish.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow company safety procedures and production schedules.
  • Assist with cabinet installation when required.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in cabinet making, woodworking, carpentry, or millwork preferred.
  • Ability to read measuring tools, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools and woodworking machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
