At the Disneyland Resort, this part‑time role supports Hotels Food & Beverage, Lodging and Banquet departments by processing clean and soiled linen. Duties include sorting, stacking, transporting, folding and ironing operations, and maintaining heavy‑machinery equipment. This role fosters teamwork, attentiveness to machine operation, and a drive to meet production standards.
Responsibilities- Operate heavy machinery: ironing and folding machines.
- Fold, feed, catch, stack and sort clean and soiled linen.
- Work on production floor around heavy operating laundry equipment.
- Notify engineers of delays or machine problems.
- Perform cleaning and basic upkeep of heavy machinery.
- Stack linen on plastic bins or aluminum racks.
- Remove stained or rejected linen or foreign items from carts.
- Assist with opening new linen and inventory checks.
- Deploy to other areas based on business demands.
- Assist on pulling metal carts and linen bags to linen control when required.
- Sort soiled linen by classification, weight and load into rail to be washed.
- Maintain, clean and clear chute of soil when assigned to a tower.
- Pull and push carts from chutes to trailers or laundry area.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Clear verbal and written communication that facilitates understanding with guests and fellow cast members.
- Encourage other cast members working on the team.
- Complete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.
- Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience working in a highly repetitive job such as factory work or machine operator.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Previous production or assembly line work.
Resort hotels operate 24/7, 365 days a year. Shifts may start as early as 4:00 am and end as late as 3:00 am, 4:00 am, or 5:00 am.
Pay RateThe pay rate for this role in California is $23.50 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
