Job Shift: 1st Shift
Responsibilities- Performs set‑ups and operations of any complexity with little or no supervision including Point, Trim, Head Turn, Fillet Role of a wide variety of diameters, and angles.
- Reads blueprint and job order for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be produced.
- Installs circular form tools, sets speed and feed to conform to specifications.
- Verifies dimensions and angles of product for conformance to specifications.
- Can cross‑train in one or more areas within Secondary Operation.
- Fills out Inspection Sheets and maintains quality standards through 3 pan other processes.
- Is proficient in the use of various types of inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, comparator, and other misc. inspection equipment).
- Regularly submits new ideas to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensures parts are clean of oil prior to de‑chipping operation.
- Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
- Performs other duties as required by management.
