Kelly Engineering is seeking a Production Supervisor to join one of our leading clients within the Chemical/Composite Manufacturing industry focused on aerospace and defense at their Anaheim, CA location.
Note:
Training will take place on 1st shift for the first couple of months before moving over to 2nd shift.
- Minimum 3-5 years industry experience in production/manufacturing environments as a supervisor
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and value chain
- Able to support the production line, run rates, and calculations toward production goals.
- Able to support and build team culture.
- Tech savvy using Excel or managing spreadsheets, SAP experience is a plus.
$35.00 - $44.00/hr
Position Overview- The Shift Team Lead is responsible for ensuring performance to established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards and best practices through engagement and involvement of Production employees.
- This role involves supervising production employees and production lines while leading the continuous improvement process to optimize safety, quality, and productivity within defined manufacturing system and process limits.
- Promote an observable culture of process safety, quality, and customer service within their organizational control.
- Significant effort is invested in developing you for your next position within the organization.
- Opportunities for advancement through various technical and operational ladders.
- Education: Minimum High School diploma or GED required; BS (Engineering) preferred.
- Experience: minimum 3-5 years of experience.

Lean Manufacturing.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and value chain.
- Ability to understand key operational metrics and communicate across organizations to achieve clear alignment and focus.
- Knowledge of quality systems, including ISO
9001/AS9100 requirements, preferred. - Proficiency in materials management, inventory control methods/procedures, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
