Shift: 1st Shift

• Set‑up and run hand‑fed or automatic centerless grind machines.
• Select grinding wheel, blade support, dressing both wheels, speeds and operation sequences.

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Ability to analyze and accurately interpret blueprints, customer drawings and industry specifications.
• Working knowledge of SPC and proficiency in the use of various inspection equipment (micrometer, calipers, comparator and other miscellaneous inspection equipment) for precision measurement.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking using mathematics to meet job requirements.
• Ability to apply shop math to job duties.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills including listening, speaking and writing.
• Effective team member, willing to work and communicate with all levels of the business.
• Excellent attendance record, including punctuality.
• Ability to work overtime as required, including weekends when needed.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand 90%–100% of the shift.

• Position requires applicant to be a U.S. Person as defined in EAR.
• Local candidates only.

$29 – $35 per hour, depending on experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
