• Personnel Protective Equipment Provided:
  Mask, Googles/face shields, gowns, gloves etcc..
• Perform resident assessments and develop, implement and evaluate care plans as necessary per state, federal, and facility policies.
• Perform treatments-administer medications, and/or implement other nursing interventions as indicated by the resident care plan or as ordered by the physician. Notify doctor timely as needed.
• Provide nursing care in accordance with acceptable infection control standards.
• Follow safety policies while performing nursing care.
• Initiate emergency measures according to facility policies and nursing practices.
• Maintain all documentation as required by federal and state regulations and facility policy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and/or medications to meet the needs of the resident.
• Participate in assigned meetings and in-services and quality assurance meetings.
• Meet unit work goals through assignment of nursing assistants and resident care needs.
• Evaluate quality and quantity of resident care service by nursing assistants.
• Present professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adhere to facility guidelines for resolving consumer concerns.
• Monitor that consumer/resident rights and privacy are protected.

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in this state.
• Must be currently certified and possess a valid CPR card.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and learn concept.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
• Must possess the ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs. Also, must possess the ability to bend, kneel or stoop.
