North Star Healthcare has an immediate need for several RN’s to work in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit. Labor & Delivery Nurses provide quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other nurses to assess mother and baby during the perinatal period and develop a specific care plan. L&D RNs perform all nursing duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act while adhering to all facility policies and procedures and maintain effective communication with patients/families, team members, and other healthcare professionals for all L&D patients.
