Your Role on the Team
Position Summary: The incumbent performs operational level duties with major emphasis on patient care delivery. Conducts in-depth interviews with patient and/or family, constructs comprehensive medical histories, performs initial and periodic medical exams, evaluates patient behaviors, directly performs or orders diagnostic studies and interprets finished results, and develops and implements long- and short-range treatment plans. Utilizes a team-based approach to delivering patient care services.

Required Qualifications
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to obtain UCIMC Allied Health Professional Privileges prior to hire
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- 1 year previous experience working as a Nurse Practitioner
- Previous experience working as a clinician in pediatric setting
- Previous experience working as a clinician in OB/GYN
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
- Registered Nurse
