Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Partum (PP)
Location: Anaheim, CA 92806
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: Nights | 3 x 12 Hours
Compensation:
Local: $70/hr. (W2)
Travel: $3,095/week ($1,850 Stipend Included)
Job Summary:
- Provides comprehensive postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns, including monitoring, education, medication administration, and coordination of maternal-newborn care.
- Provide postpartum care, maternal-newborn assessments, and patient monitoring throughout recovery
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, lab draws, and newborn care procedures
- Educate families on newborn care, discharge planning, and maternal recovery needs
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
Experience: 1 year recent/current Post Partum RN experience (within last 3 years)
Additional Notes:
- Must be proficient in electronic fetal monitoring and adult cardiac monitoring
- Experience with Magnesium, Oxytocin, and Insulin administration required
- Must have newborn care skills including heel sticks, venipuncture, pulse oximetry, cardiac monitoring, and medication administration
- Experience with Bili-lights/blankets, radiant warmers, and maternal-newborn education required
- IV skills, lab draws, urine POC testing, blood glucose testing, and IStat experience required
- Candidates with Labor & Delivery and Medical/Surgical experience are highly preferred
