The LVN at the Ambulatory Obstetrics Clinic at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital provides professional nursing care to obstetric patients and acts as a patient advocate within a multidisciplinary care team.
Under physician supervision, the LVN conducts assessments, documents findings, educates patients, and coordinates prenatal and postpartum care in accordance with California standards and CPSP guidelines to ensure quality service throughout the obstetric life cycle.
