At Tree House North
, we don't just "provide services"—we provide hope. As a short‑term crisis residential program in partnership with Orange County Health Care Authority, we are the safety net for individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. Our goal is simple but profound: stabilize, support, and help our members return to their lives without the need for inpatient hospitalization.

As a Residential Counselor
, you are the heartbeat of the program. Your work will involve one‑on‑one and group support, building the bridge that helps someone move from crisis to stability.

On‑Call | AM/PM/Overnight | Shifts and days vary as needed.

This position supports two sites:
Tree House North in Anaheim and Tree House South in Mission Viejo
. The dual‑site model offers greater shift variety and more opportunities to pick up hours.

Expected starting wage is $23.00. Telecare applies geographic differentials. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

• High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent
• At least one year of direct service experience in a mental health setting
• Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.

• Paid Time Off:
  Eligible employees (20+ hours/week) earn PTO each pay period for vacation and personal needs, with pro‑rated accrual for part‑time schedules and annual carryover up to set caps.
• Nine Paid Holidays & Shift differentials for hourly staff (6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight Shift). Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff (5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift).
