Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for emergency room coverage on a per diem basis, including strike day onboarding. This role requires quick adaptation to compliance requirements and proficiency with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities:

• Verify active nursing license and certifications prior to shift.
• Provide urgent and efficient patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions based on physician orders.
• Document patient care accurately within the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current active nursing license, verified prior to start.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Proven experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to verify vaccination status for MMR and Varicella, or provide attestation of vaccination/declination.
• Flexibility to work per diem shifts including strike day onboarding.
