We currently have an immediate opportunity for Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist to join the POWDER DIVISION at our ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Position SummaryThe QA Specialist supports the Quality Assurance function by performing quality monitoring, documentation review, inspections, and compliance activities to ensure products and processes meet GMP, food safety, and regulatory requirements. This role interfaces with production, quality, and operations teams to maintain consistent application of quality standards within a manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions- Perform quality inspections, reviews, and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with GMP and food safety standards.
- Review production records, logs, and batch documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Support product release, holds, deviations, and disposition activities as directed.
- Document and communicate quality findings, trends, and nonconformances to leadership.
- Support investigations related to deviations, CAPAs, and customer complaints.
- Verify adherence to sanitation, safety, and quality procedures on the production floor.
- Support audit readiness and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Assist with development, review, and implementation of quality procedures and documentation.
- Participate in internal audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support training and coaching related to GMP, food safety, and quality systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality-related issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. - 2-4 years of quality assurance or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of GMP, food safety, and quality system requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use production and office equipment. The employee may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. The work environment includes office, manufacturing, and production floor settings. The employee may be exposed to noise, production equipment, and food ingredients. Compliance with all safety, quality, confidentiality, and company policies is required.
