Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a PT Senior Sales Associate to support our student-focused retail environment. In this role, you'll advise customers on band and orchestra instruments, rentals, repairs, and lessons, using your product knowledge to match students, parents, and educators with the right solutions. You'll drive sales through exceptional service, accurate transactions, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, organized store. You'll collaborate with a supportive team, engage with local schools and music programs, and help grow music education in your community while developing your skills in mission-driven retail.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable, student-focused sales support for instruments, rentals, repairs, and lessons
• Assist students, parents, and educators in selecting appropriate products and services
• Process sales, rentals, and returns accurately using POS systems
• Maintain organized, visually appealing merchandising and store cleanliness
• Support inventory management, stocking, and pricing updates
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales and service goals
• Engage with local schools and music programs to support education initiatives
• Explain financing, rental plans, and repair options clearly to customers
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and follow-through
• Promote lessons, events, and programs that drive community engagement
