Job Description
Are you new to the plumbing trade and looking to pursue a different job field?
Synergy Companies is looking for a Water Heater Technician Apprentice to join our team. We work with Southern California utility companies to install water heaters at low or no cost for customers. Candidates with experience in plumbing and electric work are preferred but not required. We are seeking motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on work, can problem solve, and think independently. This position offers steady, year-round employment.
Duties/Responsibilities- Willing to learn and follow instructions
- Attend company meetings as required
- Be responsible for company equipment and vehicle
- Provide top-quality customer service
- Be comfortable with selling additional upgrades to the customer
- Physically able to lift and move equipment
- Willing to work with hands
- Be on time for scheduled appointments and meetings
- Pass drug and background screening
- High school graduate or GED
- Competent in working with hands and power tools
- Customer etiquette and communication
- Problem-solving
- Tech savvy (comfortable with computers, tablets, cell phones, and Google-based programs)
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Bilingual a plus
- Paid training
- All equipment and tools provided for the job
