The Maintenance and Facilities division at Disneyland® Resort is looking for individuals who have experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy, industrial machinery. “Outside Machinists” (maintenance mechanics) work on the Disneyland® Resort attractions and ride vehicles. This position performs functional checks, troubleshooting, overhauling, maintenance, repair, and alteration of systems and equipment, and conducts quality checks of completed work of equipment.

• At least 18 years of age.
• 2+ years of experience directly related as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial production facility.

• Shifts are typically at night; availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd) including holidays, and open to any days off.

• Experience with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and basic machinist tools.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with alignment of pumps and shafts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with PC usage.
• Ability to use fall protection, boatswain’s chair, power scaffold, and positioning equipment.
• Experience with standard shop equipment such as drill press, hydraulic press, grinders, sanders, band saws.
• Experience with hoists, lifting and jacking devices, powered carts (mules), man lifts, and lift trucks.
• Ability to safely climb ladders, stairs, and structures, including heights up to 200 feet for Disney California Adventure Park.

Pay rate for this role in California is $40.02 to $48.73 per hour, following the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The base pay may vary based on candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
