Maintenance Mechanic (Outside Machinist – Non‑Automotive) – Full Time

The Maintenance and Facilities division at Disneyland Resort is looking for individuals who have experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy, industrial machinery.

• Perform functional checks, troubleshooting, overhauling, maintenance, repair, and alteration of systems and equipment.
• Conduct quality checks of completed work on equipment.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Two or more years of experience directly related as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial production facility.

Shifts are typically licants must be available to work Sunday through Saturday on any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift) including holidays and must be open to any days off.

• Experience with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and basic tools required of a machinist.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with alignment of pumps and shafts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with the use of PCs.
• Ability to use fall protection, boatswain's chair, power scaffold, and positioning equipment.
• Experience using standard shop equipment such as a drill press, hydraulic press, grinders, sanders, and band saws.
• Experience with hoists, lifting and jacking devices, powered carts (mules), man lifts, and lift trucks.
• Ability to safely climb ladders, stairs, and structures; and for those specified to Disney California Adventure, ability to work at heights up to 200 feet above the ground.

The pay rate for this role in California is $40.02 to $48.73 per hour, which follows the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. Benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and other benefits.
