The (USA) Journeyman Electrician, Facility Services, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. This role involves diagnosing electrical issues, conducting inspections, and executing repairs using multiple craft skills while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The position requires managing maintenance schedules, coordinating with contractors, and responding promptly to emergency calls.
The Journeyman Electrician supports continuous improvement efforts and collaborates with management and team members to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, facilities, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect, diagnose, and document issues using blueprints, manuals, and tools to determine repair or replacement needs.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality and compliance with regulations.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and parts procurement while maintaining accurate records and warranty claims.
- Operate and inspect powered equipment safely, adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical facility needs outside regular hours.
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and related facility equipment.
- Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Skilled in operating hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
- Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and expense tracking.
- Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with management and contractors.
