With several manufacturing locations throughout the United States, MW Industries designs and creates products for a variety of industries, including medical, aerospace, energy, and automotive.

The Shipping/Receiving Driver is responsible for the timely delivery of products, and assisting with all daily shipping and receiving activities.

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to various locations within a designated area.
• Ensure timely delivery of shipments while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers professionally.
• Build positive relationships with clients through effective communication and reliability.
• Verify products prior to packaging and follow packaging instructions.
• Prepare items for shipment, including completing shipping notices, bills of lading and any other required documents.
• Determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods to meet shipping schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of outgoing shipments.
• Package product according to work instructions.
• Create advanced shipping notifications for applicable clients.
• Receive incoming shipments, verifying the quantity and quality of products against purchase orders or packing lists.
• Inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to management promptly.
• Organize received items in the warehouse according to established procedures.
• Follow all safety protocols while driving and handling materials.
• Assist production and other management personnel as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications related to logistics is a plus.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 2-3 years of driving experience with a company.
• Previous experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 40 lbs) safely.
• Ability to go up and down stairs.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• This position may require working outdoors in various weather conditions during deliveries.
