Position: Electrician at Johnson Electric
Take charge as an Electrician with Johnson Electric in Ancaster, Ontario. This onsite role focuses on installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial electrical systems on straight day shifts.

Join Johnson Electric as you provide critical support in maintaining equipment reliability in an industrial environment. You will apply your expertise in electrical systems, troubleshoot issues involving PLCs, and implement solutions for automation equipment. Mentorship of junior electricians is also a key component of this advanced technician role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain industrial electrical equipment and control systems

• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical malfunctions across systems

• Program and calibrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime

• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards

Requirements:

• Valid Electrician Certificate of Qualification (442A and/or 309A)

• 1-5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience

• Proficient in troubleshooting PLC-based and automated systems

• Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices

• Completed recognized Electrician Apprenticeship
