REPORTS TO: Accounting Manager
STATUS: Full-time non‑exempt position
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for keeping an accurate record of inventory movements including the purchase, transfer, and sale of fuel.
STAFF: None
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Required:
High school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of office experience in accounting or a related field. Undergraduate coursework in a related field may substitute for experience. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. - Willing to develop the right candidate with on‑the‑job experience; potential for the scope of work to expand given performance and time in the position.
- Understanding of Microsoft’s suite of products, primarily Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Capability to work effectively under time constraints to comply with reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently and think critically with minimal oversight to complete assigned duties by target deadlines.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical regulatory compliance documents; respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, or regulatory agencies; write and communicate effectively via e‑mail; communicate effectively with all employees to facilitate problem resolution.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSMay need to sit or stand as needed; may require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day; reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting as required to move hardware. Proper lifting techniques required. Must be able to occasionally lift 25 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENTTypical office environment with ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment.
