ACCOUNT PAYABLE SPECIALIST

As the Accounts Payable Specialist for Grant Aviation, you will work closely with the Assistant Controller and act as a role model in the Accounting Department. Your responsibilities include managing daily accounts payable operations, processing and coding invoices, preparing vendor payments, maintaining accurate records, and resolving payment‑related issues. You will also support reconciliations and monthly closings, provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, and may perform payroll and accounts receivable functions, aid in audits, and assist with reception duties as needed.

The Accounting team works primarily from our offices on the south end of the Ted Stevens International Airport. The typical workweek is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work‑from‑home opportunities may exist after initial training if project work or other considerations make this appropriate. You will be expected to work in a busy office environment with frequent direct interaction with teammates.

• High School diploma required;
  Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• General comfort with Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel.
• A commitment to respectful and effective internal and external customer service.

• Frequent listening, talking, walking, sitting, and standing.
• Lifting modest payloads (rarely over 25 pounds).
• Frequent computer‑based work.
• Operating a range of office equipment.
