We are seeking an Internal Audit Senior Associate to join our Internal Audit organization.
Responsibilities- Conduct or support completion of internal audits, using knowledge of internal control, risk management, accounting and business processes to carry out engagements with an objective mindset and appropriate level of professional skepticism.
- Develop engagement planning documentation, including rationale for scoping decisions, and develop risk‑based audit programs to ensure adequate coverage of risks.
- Prepare or supervise the timely preparation of all audit work papers, including draft findings.
- Communicate information and audit execution status to internal audit management effectively.
- Participate with Internal Audit management in the overall evaluation of results of audits, and draft or edit audit reports for accuracy, clarity, and conciseness.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and training to associates; seek and provide feedback.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to contribute to KPMG’s respectful and high‑performing work environment.
- Minimum three years of recent internal audit or risk management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; CPA, CIA, CISA (or equivalent) certification is preferred.
- Working knowledge of internal audit and risk management methodologies and frameworks.
- Proficiency in various auditing and analytical tools, including audit management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, analytical, and independent judgment skills to support a customer‑service‑driven and teamwork operating environment; ability to positively influence, mentor, and be a credible source of knowledge to less‑experienced team members.
- Travel required up to 25%.
