Audit and Review Analyst 1​/2 (PCN 250035

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities seeks an Audit and Review Analyst 1/2 to assist with or independently perform audits and financial reviews of internal operations and external entities, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The entry-level Analyst 1 role offers hands-on training in auditing; the Analyst 2 role involves independent detailed audits, special investigations, and high-level financial analysis.

This flexibly-staffed position in Anchorage may be filled at either level depending on qualifications, with potential promotion without reapplication after successful probation.

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, standards, and practices
• Knowledge of automated financial systems and related internal controls
• Competency in analysis and assessment using information technology
• For Analyst 2:
  Knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards and compliance procedures
• CPA certification or post-secondary education in accounting with 16+ semester hours in accounting and 3+ hours in auditing
• Valid Alaska Driver's License required
