What You Will Be DoingThe Law Office Assistant 1 position is responsible for providing administrative support to prosecutors within the Criminal Division Central Office. You will be performing a wide variety of tasks to include but not limited to typing and formatting legal documents, performing data entry, organizing documents in electronic files, and communicating with outside agencies and individuals verbally and in writing to accomplish tasks.

- You can expect a 37.5 hour work week; 12 paid holidays; personal leave accrual starting at 6 hours per pay period (about 21 days annually) and increasing with years of service. The general office hours are 8:00AM to 4:30PM but there is flexibility in establishing your regular hours around core business hours.
- This position is located in the Brady Building in downtown Anchorage. The building is a multi-floor office building with easy access to parking and popular lunch spots. The office environment is friendly, fast-paced, and never boring.
