Position Summary
The Administrative Support professional provides clerical support to the Pension and Health and Welfare Trusts. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to provide daily support across both Trust funds.

Essential Functions
  • Assist staff with routine administrative requests and office coordination by providing clerical support, including data entry, scanning, filing, copying, and document preparation.
  • Assist with month-end procedures.
  • Assist with department mailings.
  • Prepare new participant packets.
  • Prepare retirement packets.
  • Manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of customer service or administrative support experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone presence.
  • Proficiency with common office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to remain courteous, calm, and efficient in a busy environment.
  • Commitment to customer service, confidentiality, and reliability.
Other Information

Work Conditions
This position works closely with Pension and Health and Welfare representatives, and has regular interaction with staff and plan participants, their dependents, and surviving spouses. The position may require sitting or standing for extended periods and maintaining a professional presence during regular business hours.

Other Information
This position may require occasional overtime and may involve providing support in other areas of ESC, as needed. Attendance at certain Union meetings may also be required. Consistent with ERISA-related requirements and organizational policy, employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, and individuals with felony convictions are ineligible for employment.
