Administrative Clerk II - Escrow Section
We are seeking Administrative Support for our Escrow Team. Our Administrative Clerks support the operations of the department in which they are assigned, and we have an opening in our Escrow Section.
Salary: $19.70/hour minimum. Job/salary offer would be commensurate with experience.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Provides intermediate-level clerical and administrative support within the operating unit, section or department by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform full complement of general clerical and administrative tasks; compose correspondence, update and maintain records, order supplies, process invoices and payments.
- Answer, route and place telephone calls, receive and relay messages to work area personnel, distribute and send mail, greet visitors, and schedule appointments.
- Complete work area-specific tasks and assist work area personnel with special projects assigned by supervisor; generate reports, compile statistics, summarize data for supervisor's approval; perform basic review of documents for accuracy and conformity to established standards.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, update databases, perform data entry and word processing, review lower‑level administrative employees' work for accuracy.
- Respond to internal and external customer requests for information; maintain awareness of subject matter experts.
- Schedule and coordinate meeting facilities and equipment, take and distribute minutes to appropriate personnel.
- Update and maintain central task and event calendar.
- Perform other work‑related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and complete all compliance training on time.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect the bank's operations by identifying and protecting confidential information.
- Minimum:
Eighteen months office or related experience, or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. - Preferred:
Business‑related coursework or banking experience.
- Typing speed ≥45 wpm; 10‑key calculator operation.
- Word processing and spreadsheet experience required; database software experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence; speak effectively with customers or employees.
- Mathematical skills: calculate figures and amounts, apply basic algebra and geometry.
- Reasoning skills: solve practical problems and deal with variable situations; interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Regularly required to sit; use hands and arms; frequently talk and hear; occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception; ability to adjust focus.
Working ConditionsThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
