Our client, a well-established and growing Alaska company, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Office Administrator / Accounting Assistant to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in being the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll play a critical role in supporting office operations, assisting with accounting functions, and providing exceptional service to both customers and vendors.

- Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping functions
- Process invoices, payments, and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records and financial documentation
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
- Provide excellent customer service to customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Manage and organize electronic files and office documentation
- Support day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks
- Assist with special projects and company initiatives
- Learn and adapt to new systems, software, and technologies
- Help identify process improvements that increase efficiency and organization
- Previous experience in office administration, bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Proficiency in Excel and data entry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and strong team mentality
- Comfortable learning new technology and software platforms
- Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software
- Experience in Quick Books Online
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Experience working in a construction, service, or trade‑related office environment
