We are looking for a driven Document Control Professional to support our Project Team. You’ll coordinate and administer document management activities related to identification, control, and change documents directly linked to the assigned project.
You will track the life cycle of documents and records, including Design documents, RFIs and submittals, and independently manage day‑to‑day tasks related to document and records management. This position regularly interacts with internal Jacobs team members, clients, and external consultant contacts.
- Overall responsibility for setting up, managing and maintaining the document control systems for all historical, incoming and outgoing documents in support of the project.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure contract requirements are met.
- Ensure documents meet standards for production.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the document control systems implemented.
- Assure project participants are trained in practical application of systems.
- Perform general administrative responsibilities within the document control function, including data entry, training of new users, and maintaining internal process documentation.
- 7+ years of Document Control experience with nuclear, engineering, architectural, and construction documents (drawings, technical specifications, submittals, RFIs, etc.).
- Willingness to work in the office 2-3 days a week.
- Proven experience with Aconex, SharePoint, industry standard EDMS and MS Office.
- Willingness to travel within the US 25% of the time.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Strong communication skills and understanding of technical terminology.

SalaryThe base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
